Cake

Our cake was included in our wedding package. When we attended the open house, we actually tried the premium bakeries which would have cost us additional money. I would have gladly paid more... if their cakes actually tasted better. Sure, the smooth fondants and beautifully sculpted roses were gorgeous, but a cake will be eaten. It should taste good.

The bakery included with our package was Virginia Bakery. Our cake was 3 tiers (cost us extra for the third tier since we have a small wedding), layered on each other. The icing was ivory buttercream and was decorated with fresh flowers provided by Cherries Flowers. The top and bottom tier were chocolate cake with raspberry filling. The middle tier was white cake with caramel filling.
